Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. This page explains how to delete your Ruach Connect account and what data will be removed.

⚠️ Important: This action is permanent!

Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data. This cannot be undone.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

Profile Information - Your name, bio, photos, and all profile details
Posts & Comments - All content you've shared in forums
Messages - Your sent messages and conversations
Connections - Your friends list and connection requests
Dating Data - Your dating profile, likes, and matches
Events - Events you've created
Notifications - All notification history

How to Delete Your Account

1 Delete from the App (Recommended)

The easiest way to delete your account:

Open the Ruach Connect app
Go to Profile → Settings
Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
Follow the confirmation steps
Enter your password to confirm

2 Request via Email

If you can't access the app, send us an email:

To: privacy@ruachconnect.com Subject: Account Deletion Request Hello, I would like to request the deletion of my Ruach Connect account and all associated data. My account email: [YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS] I understand that this action is permanent and cannot be undone. Thank you.

Processing Time

In-App Deletion: Immediate - your data is deleted right away
Email Request: Within 7 business days of receiving your request

You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.

💡 Consider These Alternatives

Before deleting your account, you might want to consider:

Take a break - Simply log out and return whenever you're ready
Hide your profile - Go to Settings → Privacy and disable discoverability
Disable notifications - Turn off notifications in Settings
